  • How long will it take to have a stair lift installed?

Based on our experience, the process of ordering a stairlift from Patriot Mobility Inc to its arrival at your home typically takes two to eight weeks, depending on the specific stair lift model you choose. The stair lift install itself is quick and efficient, usually completed within two to three hours, allowing you to start enjoying your stair lift right away!

  • How much does a stair lift cost?

In our experience, the cost of chairlifts for stairs can vary based on the type and design you require. However, we’re happy to provide approximate pricing over the phone and always strive to find a solution that fits your budget.

  • Do wheelchair ramps come in different sizes?

Yes, they do! The size and length of ramps vary based on design and requirements, but as a trusted wheelchair ramp company, we’re happy to customize a ramp tailored to your specific needs and budget. Contact Patriot Mobility Inc today to discuss your options and get started on a solution that works for you!

  • I have a complicated entranceway. Can I still have a wheelchair ramp installed here?

Yes, as long as a wheelchair fits through the entryway we can accommodate it with a ramp.

  • I have a product purchased from a different company. Are you still able to repair it?

Please give us a call to see if the manufacturer of your product is within our capabilities. Whether it's a wheelchair ramp installation or a stair lift, we’re happy to take a look and assist with the repair if we are able to.

  • How quickly can you provide a free estimate?

We can either schedule an appointment immediately or assess your residence or business remotely through satellite to provide a rough idea of what we can do. Whether you're interested in stair lifts or wheelchair ramp installation, we’re here to help you find the best solution.

  • How much weight can a stair lift withstand?

The weight capacity of a stair lift depends on the model and brand. However, we have found that most stair lifts have a weight capacity of 300 pounds. If you are in need of a unit with a higher weight limit, you can request a heavy-duty lift that can hold up to 650 pounds.

According to the CDC, 12% of adults in the United States have a mobility disability with serious difficulty walking or climbing stairs, underscoring the importance of accommodating people of all shapes and sizes.

  • Is there a warranty for my stair lift?

We have found that home stair lifts always have a manufacturer’s warranty for at least a year on the unit. We also offer maintenance and repair plans for any mobility product we sell including stair lifts, wheelchair lifts, and wheelchair ramps.

  • What happens when a power outage occurs?

In our experience, elevator stair lifts can typically function even when there is a power outage. They do this by having a battery that charges either from the lift rail or from an outlet in your home.

  • Can I install a stair lift myself?

It is not recommended since a DIY stair lift install can lead to damage to the house and faulty stair lift function. At Patriot Mobility Inc, our stair lift installers can safely and reliably mount your unit.
